“STARS Uptown began with the intent of being able to do any type of show. The band originally started with a set list of only cover material,” says Steve Tarkanish. STARS Uptown has diversified their sound by incorporating strong original material. They are currently independent recording artists as well. The band is enjoying an inspiring amount of success in their home state and the Northeast, performing from 150-200 gigs a year. STARS Uptown is becoming a band that performs all around the US and will eventually perform throughout the world. The band has a big sound that is hard to contain, and they want to share the musical joy with as many people as possible.
